Day 8 - Halifax

Well, technically, it's Dartmouth, because the only campground near Halifax is in Dartmouth, just across the harbour (a short 10 minute ferry ride).  However, we spent almost all of today in Halifax, after a ferry ride through mist to the other side of the harbour.

We hardly strayed more than a couple of blocks inland, as all of the sights and activities we did were along the harbour front, including the farmers market (North America's oldest), a brewery tour at Alexander Keith's old brewery ("those who like it, like it a lot!"), the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, and just strolling along popping into shops etc.

We finished the day off with dinner at a so-called "gastro pub" on the waterfront (it lived up to it's name by local standards, I'd say) before we ferried back through more mist to Dartmouth.

We did have to go inside not long after this - getting too cold
