First stop was Copley Square and a look inside Trinity Church - an unusual intimate interior, and many beautiful things to look at, particularly the windows:
Next was the Boston Public library
and then we followed the Freedom Trail, a historic walk and introduction to colonial revolutionary Boston. Our American history is now 200% better than it was!

We finished with dinner in the North End, then the long-ish trek "home" 11 hours later. We've only got 2 days in Boston, so we have to make the most of it. After this, it's all small towns too, so there's no risk we'll run out of steam.
