Day 4 - Harvard and the Minutemen

The rain and cold of yesterday cleared and so we spent some very pleasant hours at Harvard.  The academic year has finished, although there were a few groups graduating, so it was nice to see all those families dressed up and proudly snapping pictures of their clever offspring.

After a quick lunch and a mad dash on my behalf around the shops (I was only given one hour, which is too short and terribly unfair!), we then returned to the countryside to the Minute Man National Historic Park.  The visitor centre has a good interactive movie thing which gave us all a clearer picture of the significant events of April 19 1775, when the minute men first resisted the British.

"Home" then to our camp ground among the trees:

Tomorrow we set off north up the coast, towards Canada.
