Day 18 - through New Brunswick towards "home"

A long drive today, through the seemingly endless forests of New Brunswick.

Apart from the amazing greenery, one thing which struck us was the preponderance of francophone Acadian towns.  Some didn't seem to be on familiar terms with the english language at all, which makes the french/english question here all the more interesting.  If Quebec were to separate, where does that leave all those other people who identify culturally with the french?

Anyway, I won't bore you with my musings any more than that.

We had some trouble finding a camp ground.  The towns we went through were largely industrial working-class places, and the "campers" mostly permanents.  we finally found a place, which proved to be weirder the more we looked:

It was only for one night anyway...
