On the road / boat / train again.....

That would be 274 nautical miles tomorrow by ferry to Prince Rupert through the Inside Passage: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inside_Passage . Fingers crossed we get to see the Northern lights.


We need to be at the ferry by 5.30 am (at least the sun will be up!), arriving at Prince Rupert at 11.30 pm.


After an overnight stay in Prince Rupert it's off to Jasper and the Rockies by train, all 1,100 kilometers, with an overnight stay at Prince George.  We will be covering almost 2,000 km, none of it by relying on the motor car.

1. No coffee updates (and none likely in the next few days I reckon!).
2. Food is getting noticeably better, although as in Australia probably better in the cities and towns than more isolated spots.
