Easter at Mont Tremblant

Easter for us was spent at Mont Tremblant, which is in Quebec about 2 hours north east of here.

One of the nicest things about the weekend was the drive - the countryside was more interesting than that over the border (and across the Ottawa River) into Ontario, and the many signs advertising fromageries and other farm produce, although closed, proved it was a rich farming region.

We spent our time in Tremblant walking around the town and through the surrounding woods.  The ski season had closed only a week or 10 days before, so no lifts were operating, but there was still some snow about to get an idea of all the runs (95 runs in all, 14 lifts).

The sun shone, there were lots of people about, it was a very pleasant little sojourn.

P.S. and ... Easter Bunny came too!
